My Story

I believe that great looking films are made by passionate individuals who love what they do and are willing to work as a team to actualize a common vision.

I believe in planning, preparation, communication & honesty.

As a little boy, I grew up to meet loads of developed film negatives and printed photographs that was taken by my father. At that time photography wasn't seen as a noble profession which I believe is the reason my dad left it for a teaching career. I was also privileged to meet His Nikon film camera which was no longer functional. Peeping through the viewfinder of the classic body, I'll pretend to take photographs of my siblings while directing them to pose. My dad seeing the passion and enthusiasm I had for photography, got me a little pocket size film camera.

Excited about my new camera, I took it to church and photographed everyone that day. I hurried to the lab the next day to print my first set of pictures as I was eager to see how they would turn out. My Dad had advised I only print those shots with perfect exposure but I ended up printing the whole film roll out of excitement and unfortunately, it turned out that majority of it were too dark hence I couldn't make any money from my adventure. That experience birthed the inquisitiveness to learn about how great images are made thus pursuing a career in photography.

I was over the moon when I finally got a hang of still photography as I made a career out of it for the few reasons; firstly, I could make people truly happy by capturing their moments and secondly, that I was able to live my father's dream. It wasn't long when the hunger for more became insatiable and that restlessness drove me into realizing my true passion "Cinematography" thus embracing this art form.

The deeper I got drown in the craft, the more my love grew for the art hence i found myself piecing together my shot to tell my story and eventually delving into color correction/ grading to create mood and manipulate viewers perception of what they see on screen.
